Rib Lath for Plaster Work
Steel rib lath, also known as expanded ribbed lath, is manufactured by punching and profiling galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel sheet. Its V-shaped ribs provide added stiffness and support, helping to maintain a uniform plastering depth across large areas.
The open mesh structure allows plaster to key through the lath for a secure bond. Steel rib lath is used as a plaster base on walls and suspended ceilings in building construction.
